The day I received this book I began reading and found myself reading straight through. It sparked many memories of the music we enjoyed growing up and how the way of life was so different than it is now. Her characters come to life and It brought back the times of growing up with friends and peer pressures, the good and the bad. It was unsettling at times but very heartwarming over all, as the good, overcomes the more challenging situations they had to face.
My husband and I both enjoyed reading this book on vacation. It took us both back to our home town and early years. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for more from Pamela.

Bio
I am a graduate student at the University of West Florida studying English and specializing in creative writing.
After spending nineteen years in journalism and seven years in public relations, I returned to college while working full-time before COVID-19 became a worldwide pandemic. In the fall semester of 2020, I decided to leave my job and fully immerse myself in my education. I learned more about my first love, creative writing. This experience changed my life in that I gained confidence and knew myself better than I did before.
Deciding to teach creative writing was easy for me. As a child, I struggled with confidence in story-making. When I spoke with adults about my stories, I often felt that writing stories was a meaningless pastime. I think that if I can encourage one person who wants to write stories well, I will have made a difference.
I am a firm believer in teaching students in the manner they learn best. Approaching the aspects of learning styles and applying teaching methods to specific learning styles can help students retain what they’re learning.
I also believe in teaching that each writer has a process that works for them. However, each method can be modified by understanding the inner workings of the subconscious to make a stronger writer.
I am currently working on a novel about the effects of the Creek Indian War of the early nineteenth century on the Muscogee people. My husband Dan and I are members of the Santa Rosa Band of the Lower Muscogee Tribe in Chumuckla, Florida. We have three beautiful daughters and seven grandchildren. We live on a small farm in Northwest Florida.
